Allright, so this second story isn't from way back before I was eight. It's from the 5th grade. We had to do reports and present to the class how to do something. For me, I showed the class how to make a comic book. I remember telling the class they needed a hero and a villain and some sort of plot and a climax. I also remember actually making a comic book, "Creature Kid" and I photo-copied tons of them and gave them out to the class. And that was my first comic book that I ever made and that was when I had the feeling I wanted to be a cartoonist. (I also still have the original of that comic).

These is Stories
I remember when I was still in like Kindergarten I saw an episode and the episode was about art. And I remember that I saw a ton of weird abstract art done by other kids, and I was like, "I wanna do that!" So I started a drawing and I called it, " Art by Kyle." It was a weird abstract creature thing with eyes all over and it was weird. But I copied it and I framed it and gave it to my favorite teacher at school. I was so proud of myself that I framed it and from then on I wanted to be an artist. (By the way, I still have it in it's original frame).

I like this story because it shows that you have always had a love for comics and it hasn't changed =] I consider it one of your passions and hope that you will go further in college for art!
ReplyDeleteYeah, you haven't changed much as far as art passion goes. When I moved here in eighth grade I just knew you and your brother as the boys who draw crazy monsters on everything. By the way, I love your two newest projects, they're amazing!
ReplyDeleteI think it's cool that you still have something from kindergarden most of my stuff i don't have any more.
ReplyDeletehaha I can totally picture you standing up in front of the class and showing everyone how to make a comic book. Good story.
ReplyDeleteOh man I totally remember that. I'm glad you've managed to stick to your goals for so long
