These is Stories

I remember when I was still in like Kindergarten I saw an episode and the episode was about art. And I remember that I saw a ton of weird abstract art done by other kids, and I was like, "I wanna do that!" So I started a drawing and I called it, " Art by Kyle." It was a weird abstract creature thing with eyes all over and it was weird. But I copied it and I framed it and gave it to my favorite teacher at school. I was so proud of myself that I framed it and from then on I wanted to be an artist. (By the way, I still have it in it's original frame).
Allright, so this second story isn't from way back before I was eight. It's from the 5th grade. We had to do reports and present to the class how to do something. For me, I showed the class how to make a comic book. I remember telling the class they needed a hero and a villain and some sort of plot and a climax. I also remember actually making a comic book, "Creature Kid" and I photo-copied tons of them and gave them out to the class. And that was my first comic book that I ever made and that was when I had the feeling I wanted to be a cartoonist. (I also still have the original of that comic).

ComicKing

As an artist I am very interested in comic art and other creative outlets for art. I really enjoy taking my ideas of characters or monsters and drawing them and seeing my ideas go from my head to the page. I get most of my inspiration for my art from life, comic books, movies, or just personal flashes of ideas. Some of my favorite artists are Norman Rockwell, Michael Turner, Alex Ross, and Mark Texeira. Turner, Ross, and Tex are all comic book artists which I really like and admire. The work they do is very interesting to look at and I always look forward to seeing how they interpret the characters I know and love. In the future I would LOVE to be a comic book artist or an animator and my craziest dream is to own my very own comic company that rivals even DC and MARVEL. I would also like to be an animator for something like video games or movies.
